Oscars Christmas Playscheme
Our Christmas play scheme is running from the 18th December - 22nd December. Please note we are also taking bookings for the inset day on Tuesday 2nd January.
Full Day: 7.45am - 6:00pm COST: £26.50
School Day: 9am - 3:15pm COST: £22.00
Sibling Discount of 12% applies for each additional child from the same family.

Monday 18th December
Active play: Santa hat relay race
Creative play: Making yummy chocolate coated honeycomb
Sensory play: Making gooey festive Oobleck
Group activity: Watching a Christmas movie with popcorn
Tuesday 19th December
Active play: Snowball run – a game where you have to gather as many snowballs as you can for your team.
Creative play: The children can make their own Christmas gonks; they make the perfect gift.
Sensory play: Bracelet making.
Group activity: Festive escape room. Some naughty elves will lock us in, will we be able to solve the clues and escape before home time?
Wednesday 20th December
Active play: Santa vs Elves sports morning. We will play classic sports day games with a festive twist
Creative play: Making reindeer dust to help Santa’s reindeers find their way this Christmas eve.
Sensory play: We will be making and playing with sensory snow.
Group activity: We will finish today by playing a game of Pictionary
Thursday 21st December
PARTY DAY – Additional £3 fee included on magic booking. Lunch provided
Active play: We will be getting into the party spirit by starting today with a dance.
Creative play: Making loom band creations.
Sensory play: Making jingle bell instruments, perfect addition to party fun
Group activity: We will finish today with an exciting Christmas quiz
Friday 22nd December
Active play: Stuck in the snow: a festive twist of stuck in the mud.
Creative play: The children can decorate festive ornaments to hang on their trees at home.
Sensory play: We will make festive slime during today’s creative play.
Group activity: Today's final activity will be playing board games with a yummy hot chocolate.
Tuesday 2nd January
Active play: We will start the new year off with a fun obstacle course.
Creative play: Today the children can make wonderful creations from Junk modelling. If you have any boxes or recycling, we can reuse, please bring it in.
Sensory play: The children can test their taste buds today in our mystery food taste test challenge.
Group activity: We will finish this years Christmas playscheme with exciting puzzles.
Additional Information
All bookings should be made through Magic Booking. Once you have booked your sessions you will need to pay in advance for the sessions.
Although we have set activities on each day, we will always have the ‘usual’ activities on offer as well: football, colouring, outdoor play, construction etc. We will always make sure there is something that the children want to do!
Please note that all activities are subject to change in the case of unforseen circumstances.
Breakfast is available until 8.15am. On all days, parents are requested to send in the following items:
- water bottle
- change of clothes
- sensible shoes
- packed lunch
- warm clothes if cold/wet
